Elena Petroska

My name is Elena and I am a UX/UI designer in the making. I come from a small country on the Balkans, North Macedonia and I currently work and live in Berlin, Germany.

Being passionate about art and design and my experience as an architect and an engineer has taught me how to be detail-oriented, responsible and committed to a project and a specific task with a get-it-done and on-time product spirit.

Finding logic in everyday things, how they work and how people react to them made me think more broadly on this topic. I have always preferred practical and functional things, so I became interested in creating designs that would have the same features. My focus curently is pursuing the field in UX/UI and this somehow came to me quite naturally as the next step in my career upgrade.

My values come with me in my day-to-day life. I try to do a little bit of everything. In addition to my career, my high passion for rescuing stray dogs have resuled into co-founding an organisation that is now helping hundreds of dogs into finding their forever home and switching the mindset of the people toward adopting and helping a stray animal.

I usually spend my free time with my pets and loved ones, preferably in nature, then do some exploring around the city and local areas to find a nice architecture and always trying to find the best possible cheese & white wine.
